According to AC Nielsen, an international market research firm that two most popular bottled water markets in Taiwan on 2017 are respectively 35.3% of mineral water and 35.1% of functional water.

The Carat media, which has long observed market trends and developments also pointed out that the analysis from 2012 to 2015 in Taiwan bottled water advertising amount (excluded ads at internet ) which more than NT$500,000 brands that found the brand of functional bottled water has grown significantly, The ads amount of functional water has accounted of 29% on 2012 has growing up to 53% on 2015.
